I’ve been saying for a while now that the cookie monster metal really isn’t that interesting, and needs to go away, and I think the labels are starting to see that too. Lot of new bands these days - and they have actual singers !! 2009 has been a great year for metal so far - it’s only half over - and I think this is the last year of the screamo-growlcore-death metal crappe’ . You are going to start seeing more real bands on the magazine covers. And you are going to know who they are and what they sound like because we have been playing them right here on The Other Side of Metal all along…… go ahead and pat yourself on the back. You deserve it. And we’ll do that beach thing next weekend ………
